RATES AND RENTAL CONDITIONS
The Coral Gables Art Cinema is located in the heart of Downtown Coral Gables in an ideal location, with close proximity to the Coral Gables retail and shopping district that includes a wide array of restaurants, bars, coffee houses, bookstores, and hotels. Ample and inexpensive parking is available in the public parking garage adjacent to the cinema.

BASE RENTAL RATES
Commercial Events:
Monday-Thursday (Friday - Sunday rates increase 10%)
Multiple day events will receive a bulk discount.
DAY/OFF-HOURS: $115 per-hour between 9am-6pm and after midnight; $45 each additional hour after the first four.
EVE: $140 per - hour between 6pm-12am; $55 each additional hour after the first four.
FULL DAY: $840 - 11 hours maximum, hourly rates apply above this.
Non-Profit Events 501(c)(3) entities:

• Non-profit rates require submission and approval of a valid IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter BEFORE a date is held.
• A Deposit of 50% of total cost for time reserved is required for a confirmed booking.
• Rates are subject to change.
SERVICES
Package Discounted Rates Available. Consult with management.
1. Rental rates include one house manager. Additional required staff will be billed at the prevailing rates.
2. Theatre Rental rates include use of house lights only. Use of Theatrical Lighting, Sound System, and Projection equipment is available at an additional charge as shown below.
• 16mm Projection System $40.00 per hour including operator. Minimum call 2 hours.
• 35mm Projection System $50.00 per hour including operator minimum call 3 hours.
• Video Projection System, SD & HD $50.00 per hour including operator minimum call 4 hours.
3. Sound & Lighting Systems: Consult Management for a quote.
4. Portable Stage Setup & Tear Down includes labor $350.00.
5. Lectern with Microphone $50.00.
6. Video Playback System Digital Beta Cam SD with video projector $95.00 per hour includes operator.
7. Blue Ray, CD, DVD, Reel to Reel Tape, Disc Player, Flat $30.00 charge.
8. Mixing Console for Audio 24 Channel in 8 out $100.00 per hour with operator.
9. Lighting control System and Operator $75.00 per hour with Operator.
10. Ticketing, box office and advance purchase capability available. Consult Management for quotes.
11. Concession stand operated by management at all screenings. Catering and alcohol services available
through management. Outside services may be acceptable by arrangement for special events.
ALL RENTALS REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING:
• 50% of rental fee is due at time of booking.
• 50% remainder balance due 30 days in advance of rental.
• Renter must submit a certificate of insurance naming the “CORAL GABLES CINEMATEQUE, INC.” as
a loss payee. Purchase of an alternate insurance rider through us may be available.
• Submission of Certificates must be made not less than 30 days prior to the booking.
• Users not providing a certificate of insurance will be subject to cancellation and loss of full deposit as
liquidated damages.
Multiple use contract rates for the facilities are available. Consult with management.
EVENT CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation of an event by a customer after a contract has been signed will be subject to the following fees and forfeiture of deposits on account: With more than 60 calendar days notice the full deposit is returned minus $100 processing fee. Less than 60 calendar days’ notice 50% of deposit fee retained and later than 30 calendar day’s notice 100% of deposit is retained by the Cinemateque.

Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside of the CGC.
