Centered on the final weekend of summer before school begins, American Graffiti follows a group of friends during a single night as they cruise around looking for fun and romance while an uncertain future awaits just beyond reach. Star Wars creator George Lucas' nostalgic breakout hit kickstarted the careers of several Hollywood stars including Richard Dreyfuss, Harrison Ford, Suzanne Sommers, and child star turned award-winning director, Ron Howard. It's a veritable time capsule that captures a time when the soundtrack of the heart came from Top 40 radio.
Lucasfilm's first production celebrates a special 50th anniversary with a newly remastered edition and a brand-new sound mix.
