"Not only a great film but a brilliant work of historical fiction; no sociological treatise could duplicate the movie's success in remembering exactly how it was to be alive at that cultural instant." —Roger Ebert
"A brilliant work of popular art." —Dave Kehr, Chicago Reader
50th Anniversary / New 4K Restoration
Centered on the final weekend of summer before school begins, American Graffiti follows a group of friends during a single night as they cruise around looking for fun and romance while an uncertain future awaits just beyond reach. Star Wars creator George Lucas' nostalgic breakout hit kickstarted the careers of several Hollywood stars including Richard Dreyfuss, Harrison Ford, Suzanne Sommers, and child star turned award-winning director, Ron Howard. It's a veritable time capsule that captures a time when the soundtrack of the heart came from Top 40 radio.
Lucasfilm's first production celebrates a special 50th anniversary with a newly remastered edition and a brand-new sound mix.
After Hours is the best films you never saw on the big screen (or maybe you did) from late-night cult classics to foreign favorites and even summer blockbusters on weekends. Please note that unclaimed pre-ordered tickets will be sold to the rush line 30 mins after showtime.
