Why should you come to Gables Cinema in the time of COVID-19? As a local nonprofit arts organization, our community is our priority. We will not compromise your health and safety for profits. Things have changed. We’re taking every precaution to ensure that your visit is safe and satisfying when you are ready to come back and enjoy the shared experience of cinema. Coral Gables Art Cinema is part of the National Association of Theatre Owners' CinemaSafe program, which promotes protocols and guidelines developed and supported by leading epidemiologists to support a safe return to movie theaters.

HOW DO I BUY TICKETS?

Purchase your tickets online and in advance from our website or by calling the box office (786.472.2249).

CAN I RESERVE MY SEAT IN ADVANCE

Reserved seating is in place for select screenings. Full capacity screenings resumed in September 2022.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK

Masks are welcome, but are not required. 

CAN I BUY CONCESSIONS

Yes.

WHAT OTHER STEPS HAVE YOU TAKEN TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF PATRONS AND EMPLOYEES

  • Touchless credit / debit card sales are recommended to minimize contact, but cash is accepted
  • Online / over-the-phone purchase of tickets in advance 
  • Face masks and hand sanitizer are available 
  • Air purifiers have been installed in all common areas of the building
  • Enhanced cleaning between movie screenings and every night after we close
  • If you are unwell, we ask you to please stay home and return only when you are feeling better.

Our main priority is keeping you and all of us safe. Our comprehensive health and safety plan is approved by Miami-Dade County, the City of Coral Gables, and the Coral Gables Fire Department.
